The first time Shari-Ann Selvey met the young man who will play her murdered son in a new documentary, he walked her to her car and opened the door for her — just like Devan would have done.
“He has a lot of who Devan was in him,” she said. “He’s going to be able to show the true essence of Devan.”
Devan Selvey was 14 when he was killed Oct. 7, 2019. He was stabbed in the back with a knife outside Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in east Hamilton.
