LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Seven people have been arrested in connection with an assault and robbery in March after a man reported being attacked and held against his will.

The Laredo Police Department responded to a reported assault on March 29 in the 1600 block of Madison St. Officers met with a man who said he was assaulted and held against his will. Police say the man had visible injuries consistent with an assault.

The victim told officials he tried to end a relationship with a woman the day before the incident. A group of individuals then assaulted the man at a home in the 2300 block of E. Saunders St. and forced him to give $600 and not to return to his family. He was eventually released.

After investigation, police identified the suspects as Elizabeth Flores, Diego Alexander Garcia,
