One of the Eagles ’ biggest rivals will be looking for a new head coach.
The Giants fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday, according to multiple reports.
The decision comes after the Giants blew another lead on Sunday, losing to the Bears, 24-20, after holding a 20-10 lead with less than six minutes to go in regulation.
The Giants are 2-8 this season, dead last in the NFC East. New York went 20-40-1 in Daboll’s three-and-a-half seasons at the helm.
The Giants made the playoffs once under Daboll, who was the Bills’ offensive coordinator before being hired. The Giants were eliminated by the Eagles in the 2022 divisional round in resounding fashion. Philadelphia won, 38-7, at Lincoln Financial Field.
