DENVER (KDVR) — By November, Denver is usually cooling down and bracing for a winter storm, but on Monday, Denver is expected to be warmer than some parts of the country known for its heat.
The average first snowfall in Denver usually comes on Oct. 18, however, by Nov. 10, there's still not a flake in the city. Denver is now not only inching closer to having one of the latest first snowfalls in the city's history, but it is also warmer than several other parts of the country.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration forecast on Nov. 10, Denver is expected to reach a high of 71 degrees on Monday, which is warmer than parts of Florida, Texas and other southern areas.
