WINDSOR LCCKS, Conn. (WTNH) — Bradley International Airport announced Monday the cancellations of multiple flights since Friday are due to air traffic reductions by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Connecticut Airport Authority officials said 14 flight cancellations since Friday are related to the ongoing air traffic reductions by the FAA.
Although flight data websites may show additional cancellations, CAA officials noted that not all the delays or cancellations can be attributed to the government shutdown, due to factors such as weather, maintenance and crew availability.
Travelers are encouraged to check the status of their flights with their airline.
