WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A 24-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly struck a police cruiser in Brookfield during a pursuit last week, according to state police.
State police were looking for a suspect who had struck a state police cruiser in Prospect
Jalen Rasheed Skeete, from Bridgeport, was identified as the suspect. State police said that he was also a suspect in a home invasion, larceny and arson in Waterbury. At around 10 a.m., troopers located Skeete's GMC Sierra on Route 6 in Newtown. He continued to attempt to elude troopers through Newtown to Route 25 in Brookfield.
Troopers then completed a forced stop of the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot through the woods toward Ledgewood Condominiums in Brookfield. Skeete was then placed into custody by troopers, according to
