The man was charged with assault causing bodily harm — choke, suffocate, or strangle; domestic assault; uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm — domestic; uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm; and, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
