Police alleged the man assaulted his girlfriend, choked her, threatened to kill her, and then threatened to kill the woman’s daughter over the phone. When located by police, officer alleged he was in possession of dog spray and a baton. Article content

The man was charged with assault causing bodily harm — choke, suffocate, or strangle; domestic assault; uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm — domestic; uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm; and, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He was held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
