CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Officials from the North Central West Virginia Airport confirmed that customers are not expected to see interruptions to travel during this holiday season.

As the federal government shutdown continues into its second pay period, regional airports serving as connecting hubs are experiencing flight cancellations after air-traffic controllers increasingly call off work without pay, prompting the Federal Aviation Administration to order reductions in flights.
