East Providence High School ceramics students did their part to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice with the creation of an art display outside of the school.
Known as a symbol of somber remembrance and hope for a peaceful future, dozens of kiln-fired red poppy flower ceramics pieces now sit “planted” in a peaceful arrangement around the flagpole on the high school grounds, where they will remain throughout the week in honor of Veterans Day.
