BROOKHAVEN, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Hundreds of families came together in Brookhaven Sunday, not just for a walk, but to remember.
The annual Kate’s Club Memory Walk gives children and parents a chance to honor loved ones they’ve lost and remind each other they’re not alone in their grief.
The walk is held in November for Children’s Grief Awareness Month.
One mother in attendance said she lost her daughter at the age of 15 to a boating accident.
