A massive development project that would include the fourth tallest residential tower in the United States has been proposed for Jersey City.
The proposed development at 100 Bay Street would feature two towers rising 90 and 40 stories from a shared podium base, connected by a sky bridge on the 40th floor, according to BLDG Management.
The building would include 1,300 apartments and 20% would be affordable units.
Pelli Clarke & Partners designed the project, which the developer said would incorporate the artistic character of the Arts District while adding to Jersey City’s skyline.
At 1,055 feet, the taller tower would be the fourth tallest residential building in the U.S., according to the announcement.
