An 18-year-old Mizzou student is facing felony charges after allegedly strangling another student for blocking them on Snapchat.

Maxwell Warren of Overland Park, Kansas, was charged with multiple counts of domestic assault, including in the first-degree, as well as first-degree burglary.

He is currently being held in the Boone County Jail on no bond. He has pleaded not guilty.

Suspect allegedly strangled victim twice after rejections

Warren allegedly showed up uninvited to the victim's residence hall room at the university on Sept. 26 to confront them about being blocked on the social media app Snapchat, according to the probable cause statement . After forcing his way into the victim's room, Warren then pushed the victim against the bed and began strangling them, all while saying,
