Pembroke Regional Hospital achieved a milestone in local cancer care on Oct. 29 with the official opening of its expanded chemotherapy and medical daycare space.
About 60 guests including hospital leaders, physicians, donors, municipal representatives, and patients, gathered to celebrate the opening that marked the completion of Phase Two of the hospital’s Cancer Care Project. The new treatment area, described as modern, open, and community-oriented, builds on years of collaboration between PRH and the Regional Cancer Center at The Ottawa Hospital.
