YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Youngstown Fire Department helped with a rescue Monday in Mill Creek Park.
They helped save a cat who refused to come down out of a tree near the Lily Pond. Firefighters said the feline was up there since at least 4 p.m. Sunday. They tried to coax it down with some food, but that didn't work.
Mill Creek said their bucket truck wasn't high enough, so they called in Ladder 24 from Youngstown.
The animal is now at West Side Cats, where they will check it for a chip to see if it has an owner.
