GEORGETOWN, Texas — Southbound lanes of Interstate 35 at Williams Drive have reopened following a crash in Georgetown on Monday afternoon. As of around 3 p.m., the frontage road in the area is closed.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, the crash involved a semitruck and a car that rolled over.
It’s unclear what caused the crash and if anyone was injured.
As of around 1:15 p.m., all southbound I-35 lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted to the frontage road. In an update around 3 p.m., police said southbound lanes of I-35 had reopened but the frontage road is closed.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
