HAMPTON, N.H. —
A man is dead after a fatal crash early Saturday morning involving an electronic scooter in Hampton, police said.
Officers responded to the sidewalk at G Street and Ashworth Avenue after receiving a 911 call about an unconscious man.
When police arrived, they found 34-year-old Joseph Pepin, who wasn't breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Surveillance video shows Pepin lost control of the e-scooter and crashed. Police said he wasn't wearing a helmet. No other vehicles were involved.
Police are continuing to investigate and called the crash a tragic accident.
