It’s been two years since Henderson’s been in the top job at the national governing body for amateur and high-performance hockey. The first female president and CEO in the organization’s history took over as it tried to recover from a scandal due to what was then an alleged sex assault on a woman involving five players on Canada’s 2018 men’s world junior team, following a Hockey Canada gala.
