KEOSAUQUA, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa Republican Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks was met with shouting and frequent interruptions as she answered questions during a boisterous town hall on Monday.
Rep. Miller-Meeks took submitted questions from a moderator Monday at the Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua, Iowa. Rep. Miller-Meeks took questions on immigration, the government shutdown, healthcare and SNAP benefits.
Some members of the crowd continuously interrupted Miller-Meeks, yelling questions or opposition to Rep. Miller-Meek’s answers. One attendee chanted “vote her out” while being walked out of the town hall as Miller-Meeks talked.
Others yelled in support of Miller-Meeks, pushing back against those interrupting.
