A Canberra cafe co-owner accused of child sexual abuse is facing new charges relating to a second teenage employee, a court has heard.
When Dhiren Patel was arrested in May , he was charged with raping a young employee of his north Canberra cafe.
A week later, the ACT Magistrates Court heard that more people had come forward to police with claims against the Gungahlin man, who is aged in his 30s.
On Tuesday, November 11, after being committed to a higher court for trial, Patel faced the ACT Supreme Court to be formally arraigned on charges he is set to fight.
His charges included two new counts of committing an act of indecency on a child under special care relating to the second alleged victim.
