COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. - Multiple students from St. George Independent School in Collierville have been expelled amid a sexual assault investigation, according to a letter obtained by FOX13.
That letter to parents from the St. George Board of Trustees details allegations of a sexual assault happening on campus.
According to the letter, the alleged assault happened in early October, after school hours, in the athletic building. The board of trustees wrote that students with third-hand knowledge of the incident brought the allegations to the attention of school officials. Collierville Police are investigating the incident, and the school is cooperating in that investigation.
