On Monday at 8:56 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a snow squall warning in effect until 10 p.m. for Clearfield County.
"At 8:53 p.m., a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from Brockway to S.B. Elliot State Park to Woodland, and will be nearly stationary or drift slightly to the south over the next hour," according to the weather service. "For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the Dubois and Snow Shoe exits, specifically from mile markers 97 to 138."
Locations impacted by the warning include DuBois, Clearfield, Sandy, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Penfield, Hyde, Osceola Mills, Plymptonville, Rockton and Chester Hill.
