Property damage: Cedar Road

Several mailboxes were damaged when they were struck by equipment hanging off the trailer of a tree service company truck Nov. 5.

The truck was traveling west and the driver was unaware of what was happening.

The incident was reported by a witness.

Officers contacted the company and advised them of the incident. They said they would cover the cost to repair or replace all four of the damaged mailboxes.

Welfare check: Chagrin River Road

A man requested that officers check on his mother at her home in the 600 block Nov. 2 because he was unable to contact her by phone.

The woman was not at the home at the time, but officers contacted her later and advised her to check in with her son.
