BERKELEY — Bay Area native Landon Seaman was the lone bright spot for Cal State Fullerton in a 93-65 loss to Cal on Monday night at Haas Pavilion.
Seaman, a 6-foot-8 graduate student who grew up in Vacaville, had 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting and added four rebounds and two blocked shots to pace the Titans, who trailed by 15 at halftime and by as much as 34 before it was over.
Josh Ward finished with 12 points and eight rebounds for Fullerton (1-2).
Dai Dai Ames scored 24 points and shot 6 for 7 from 3-point range to lead Cal (3-0). John Camden added 16 points, Chris Bell had 15 points and seven rebounds and Justin Pippen contributed 14 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
