Ex-police officer finds cannabis factory in her house after noticing 'very strong smell' View 3 Images

An ex-police officer has spoken of the moment she discovered a cannabis factory in her property. The woman said she was shocked to find cannabis plants growing in almost every room of the house, which had been sat empty for some time.

The property owner said she attended the Belfast property last week in order to make repairs to it and found that the locks on the doors had been changed and there were different blinds in the window.

She said the house had been empty for a couple of years after it had been left in a poor state by previous tenants and she needed time to save in order to refurbish it, BelfastLive reports.
