BEIRUT -- A high-ranking U.S. Treasury official said during a visit to Beirut on Monday that Washington is pushing Lebanese officials to crack down on the flow of funding to Hezbollah before next year's parliamentary elections and to prosecute people involved in a quasi-bank affiliated with the group.
