We got our first little taste of winter here in the Capital Region on Monday, and we will get a little more on Tuesday. We most likely see just a dusting locally, and some lake effect snow will bring more plowable accumulations in Central and Western New York.

Here in the greater Albany area, News Channel 13 says we can expect snow showers and flurries with chilly temperatures in the mid-30s and wind chills in the 20s. Snow and rain showers will linger through Wednesday and Thursday as temps rise into the 40s. The National Weather Service says we should see less than an inch of snow in Albany and areas north, while Pittsfield and Cobleskill could see 1 to 2 inches. loading...
