Prince Edward , the Duke of Kent , was supported by Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh , at the Cenotaph on Sunday, as the royal family gathered to pay their respects to those who have died in conflicts. The Duke, 90, is the oldest working royal and has been a mainstay of Remembrance weekend for decades following his retirement from the Army in 1976. This service, however, will have been especially moving for Prince Edward, as it marks his first Cenotaph ceremony following the death of his wife, Katharine, Duchess of Kent, in September.
