DAVANAGERE: Three days after a car plunged into the Bhadra canal near Hosuru village close to the Sulekere, a body was found in the in the vehicle on Tuesday.

The car had fallen into the canal on Sunday morning, killing Siddesh (38) and Mallikarjun (27). Four people were in the car survived, but the two men died while two others survived. Mallikarjun’s body was found on Sunday, and Siddesh’s body was found on Tuesday.

The victims were returning after visiting a Koragajja temple in Mangaluru when the accident occurred as the driver dozed off. Fire and Emergency Services teams searched for the bodies for three days. A case has been registered at Santhebennur police station.
