Agartala, 11 th November 2025: A tense situation broke out at GB Hospital after a disagreement arose between hospital staff and the family of a deceased patient over the post-mortem procedure.

The deceased has been identified as Judinpui Kaipeng, aged 27, a resident of Debthang Para under Teliamura subdivision. According to hospital sources, Kaipeng was admitted to the Trauma Centre on Saturday with complaints of severe neck pain. He had been undergoing treatment since then. However, his condition deteriorated on Tuesday morning, and despite the doctors’ best efforts, he was declared dead.
