Actor, director and producer Michael B. Jordan will receive the Icon Award for his performance in “Sinners” at the Palm Springs International Film Awards.
The Film Awards will take place on Jan. 3, 2026, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with the festival running Jan. 2-12. The event will be presented by Kering and sponsored by Entertainment Tonight.
In “Sinners,” twin brothers Smoke and Stack, both played by Jordan, return home to Clarksdale, Mississippi, after surviving combat in World War I. The brothers arrive with a truck full of liquor, ready to open a juke joint. However, as the festivities begin, a sinister force descends upon them, threatening to consume the heart and soul of the community.
