EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police have arrested a man following an murder investigation.

EPD was called to the 5500 Carraige Drive late Monday evening for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, a man was located with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and passed away from his injuries.

Detectives on scene learned 21-year-old Drasean Hogan was at the home and got into an argument with a woman and started fighting with a second woman. During the fight, police said Hogan pushed a child to the ground, leading to the victim being called to pick up the child.

When the man arrived to get the child, Hogan is accused of shooting the man multiple times before leaving the scene.
