Soon after the New York Giants parted ways with head coach Brian Daboll on Monday, Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott was asked if he would consider reaching out to him.
The implied suggestion was that McDermott might consider replacing offensive coordinator Joe Brady with Daboll, following Buffalo's 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Daboll previously served as the offensive coordinator for Buffalo quarterback and reigning Most Valuable Player Josh Allen from 2018 through the 2021 season.
Is Sean McDermott thinking about OC change?
"Yeah, no, I understand why you're asking that," McDermott responded, per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. "Brian's a great coach. Unfortunate to see that happen to him. At this point, that's not under any type of consideration."
