A Queensland photographer killed in a horrific motorbike accident on the Gold Coast has been remembered by her family as an “incredible” mother, wife and friend.
Nadia Shevtsova, 38, was riding with a group of motorcyclists on Ashmore Rd in Bundall about 8.15pm on Friday when the unthinkable happened.
Police said at some point during the ride, three of the riders, including Nadia, collided between Chale Ct and Showcase Ct.
She suffered critical injuries and despite attempts from paramedics to save her life, Nadia died at the scene.
Her husband, Vitalii Brokhof, praised the care of emergency services who attempted to “help her come home” to their family.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who was there in her final moments,” he said.
