Arkansas came up short in a 69-66 loss at Michigan State in its first test of the season Saturday, but Razorbacks coach John Calipari called the result not all bad.

"You want to win every game," Calipari said, "but at this time of the year, you win or you learn. We learned. We learned about each other. Guys have to take responsibility, hold themselves accountable. We certainly saw some things we can get better at."

The Razorbacks (1-1) dropped seven spots to No. 21 in the AP Top 25 poll and will play host to Central Arkansas on Tuesday in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Razorbacks have played the Bears three times since 2020-21 and won all three by at least 25 points. Returners Karter Knox and D.J. Wagner had 14 and 13 points, respectively, in Arkansas' 82-57 victory in Fayetteville a year ago.
