An Edinburgh carer who took money totalling around £8,000 from a vulnerable client has been struck off.

Evidence was found that Nyaradzai Agatha Christine Zindoga had, on more than one occasion, told a resident in her care she was struggling and had accepted money from him on numerous times.

A panel heard how the registered manager of Purple Social Care heard from a team leader on May 31, 2024, that the resident had shared concerns with them as they were unable to get in contact with Zindoga and was owed a substantial amount of money from her.

What followed was a meeting between the resident, the registered manager of the service provider and a team member where Zindoga's actions were discussed.
