The cost of a Paramount+ subscription is going up as the streaming giant is raising prices in early 2026. The cost hike was revealed in a third quarter report issued this week.
Paramount explained the move by saying “ongoing investments in Paramount+ are enhancing the value we deliver to consumers. To support this continued investment, we plan to implement price increases in the U.S. early in the first quarter of 2026.”
According to Variety, the price increases take effect on Jan. 15, 2026 and will impact the following subscription plans:
Paramount+ Essential (ad-supported) plan will increase to $8.99 per month, an increase of $1.
Paramount+ Premium (ad-free) plan will increase to $13.99 per month, an increase of $1.
The yearly Essential plan will be $89.99 per year ($7.50 per month)
