The FBI is currently investigating the death of a Carnival Cruise Line passenger.

Per ABC News , Anna Kepner, 18, was reported dead while aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship, which returned to Miami, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 8.

She died while aboard a Carnival Horizon ship. The cruise lasted six days and sailed through the Caribbean. When the cruise returned to the sunshine state, the FBI launched an investigation into her death.

Kepner was described as a straight A-student set to graduate high school in May 2026.

“When she walked into a room, she would light it up,” her family told the outlet. “If you were sad, she’d make you laugh. She would joke around and be the funniest little person in school.”
