Ahead of losing millions in revenue thanks to provincially ordered unplugging of speed cameras on Friday in the city, Belleville council agreed on Monday to realign how it spends OLG monies received quarterly for hosting Belleville Shorelines Casino.
The city has received roughly $22.3 million in gaming revenues from OLG since 2018, cash that is set aside in a reserve account held by the city to spend across a variety of categories.
