Update: The winter weather advisory for Northern Erie is expected to expire at 1 p.m.

The advisory was active for Northern Erie.

"Primarily light lake effect precipitation, mainly in the form of snow, will continue to shift generally northward and exit northeast Ohio through the rest of this afternoon. Any additional snow accumulations should be one inch or less," comments the National Weather Service.
