The United Kingdom has stopped sharing some intelligence with the United States regarding suspected drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean. This decision stems from the UK's concern about being complicit in US military strikes, which it believes to be illegal.
Sources speaking to CNN disclosed that the United Kingdom initially shared information with the intention of stopping the vessels and detaining their crews. However, the US has reported that these strikes have resulted in the destruction of at least 20 vessels and have killed dozens of people.
