CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WIS) - The Charlotte Hornets are putting a splash of orange on this season’s City Edition uniforms.

The team revealed the new gear alongside a new court design on Tuesday.
The Hornets said the orange, blue and white color scheme was inspired by the Bird of Paradise flower, named in honor of Queen Charlotte. The team added the look carries elements of the original Hornets franchise as well as the Charlotte Bobcats, and reflects the Carolinas’ reputation as a “Hoopers Paradise.”
