Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was a late addition to the team’s injury report ahead of Tuesday night’s game vs. the Boston Celtics.

“Joel Embiid (right knee soreness) is now OUT tonight vs. the Celtics, per Sixers. He’s being evaluated by team doctors and the team will provide further updates when appropriate,” Liberty Ballers’ Paul Hudrick posted on Bluesky. “Important to note this is NOT the knee Embiid had his most recent procedures on. We’ll wait to get more clarity.”
