Kol Israel Foundation held its 2025 annual event remembering Kristallnacht, “87 Years After Kristallnacht: The Pulse of Antisemitism Today,” on Nov. 9 at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation in Pepper Pike, where guest panelists said despite the recent rise in antisemitism across the world, they are positive about the future, and hope to help bring younger generations more Holocaust education.
Panelists Kelly Fishman, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League Ohio River Valley, Gary Moody, a teacher in North Canton City Schools and a previous teacher fellow at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and Mark Swaim-Fox, president and CEO of The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio and chairperson of the Ohio Holocaust and Genocide Memorial and Education Commission, said 87 years
