WASHINGTON STATE – Chain restaurants in Washington state have been reported as the most expensive in the nation, according to a new report from the Washington Hospitality Association.
The report highlights that the cost at chain restaurants in Washington state is more than 136% of the national average. Washington, along with California and Oregon, are the top three states with the highest chain restaurant prices, according to their study.
California ranks second, with costs at 133% of the national average. Seattle stands out as among the highest in the nation, with prices 17% higher than most cities across the country.
