INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - New evidence has been released by the court in the Delphi murders case as attorneys for the man accused of murdering two teenage girls in Delphi more than eight years ago work to reverse his conviction .
According to our sister station WTHR , the court released more than 1,000 pages of exhibits from the case that were requested by the team putting together Richard Allen’s appeal.
Allen is currently serving 130 years for the 2017 murders of Abby Williams and Libby German.
Several weeks ago , Allen’s appellate attorneys notified the court they had not received all the exhibits filed in the case, and the court of appeals ordered the trial court to send them over.
