Police in Pennsylvania are investigating a shocking burglary at a mausoleum, officials announced on Monday, Nov. 11.
The crime occurred sometime between Saturday, Nov. 1, and Thursday, Nov. 6, investigators explained. It happened at Good Shepherd Memorial Mausoleum on Westminster Road in Plains Township (Luzerne County). During that time, the remains of two individuals were removed from their crypts, according to Plains Township Police.
Authorities did not disclose further details about the victims or the motive behind the desecration, but said all information received will be kept confidential.
