OGALLALA, Nebraska — Todd Adams, chairman and CEO of Adams Bank and Trust, which has several branches in the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado, died Thursday at a North Platte, Nebraska, hospital from complications related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 69.
The Ogallala, Nebraska-based bank has locations in Berthoud, Firestone, Fort Collins, Greeley and Longmont, as well as 15 other branches in Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas.
Adams dedicated more than four decades to the bank. Under his leadership, it grew from $110 million in assets to more than $1.3 billion.
