The owner of downtown Greeley’s Quality Inn and Conference Center hopes to refurbish the property into a fresh Delta by Marriott flagship.

Bruce Rahmani, owner of Colorado Hospitality Services Inc., based in Northglenn, presented his plan to the Greeley Downtown Development Authority in October, seeking help in securing from $5 million to $8 million he needs to finance the estimated $19.9 million project.

Both the DDA and the city of Greeley have programs to provide resources to lure business growth and retention. While Rahmani has presented his case to both, no figures have been discussed concretely, and he declined to discuss financial details of the project. All involved say they are very early in any talks.
