More than 100 people turned out for the annual Cooperstown Veterans Day Parade Tuesday, Nov. 11, marching from the Veteran’s Club up Main Street to the World War I memorial on Pine Boulevard.
The Color Guard held the American flag as the group commenced up the street toward the memorial, which includes the name Sgt. Fred L. Stilson, who died in the line of duty in 1918 in Fort Ontario in Oswego, according to the American Legion website.
