Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox on Tuesday that the H-1B foreign worker program is needed in the U.S. because American workers aren't talented enough. When asked about getting rid of the H-1B visa program because it gives American jobs to workers from overseas, Trump said that foreign companies aren't going to invest in companies with American workers.
"Does that mean the H-1B visa thing will not be a big priority for your administration. Because if you wanna raise wages for American workers, you can't flood the country with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands or foreign workers," Fox host Laura Ingraham asked Trump.
"Well I agree, but we also do have to bring in talent," Trump answered.
